Doyle Bramhall II demonstrated the Berkos FX Third Stone fuzz pedal for John Bollinger in the January 10th, 2017 issue of Premier Guitar’s Rig Rundown.
In walking through his rig, Doyle takes the time to discuss the Third Stone, stating: “This is a Third Stone which is made by Berkos FX. And he usually takes a lot of the Germanium Parts and makes Dallas Arbiter fuzzes and this, which is more like the later Jimmy fuzz. Like Woodstock fuzz.”

I’ve been using this Blankenship amp, and it’s basically a 50 watt [Marshall] Super Bass, which obviously was not made. But he made that one for me. And just a Fender 2 x 12 cab.

And um, I think the originals that they make are something like $5000 a pedal because there aren’t that many left. And uh, its an English fuzz and its sort of a whacky kind of sound because it has that fizz on the top of it. It sounds a bit like an amp that’s blowing up. And its loud…"
