great spring reverb emulator, but can be a little too bright for my taste
an always on pedal on my board. I never mess with the decay knob. It's always set fully counter - clockwise. One of the best spring reverb emulators I've ever played, in a very board friendly housing to save up some pedal real - estate. One thing I have against the Spring Chicken however - as with spring reverbs in general - is that it can come out a little too bright in some settings, and therefore requires a certain amount of tweaking per every gig in which the amp/speaker/mic combo differs from the last
