I bought my Yamaha RBX250 in 1994 as my first new bass, after playing for years on an old Ibanez Jazz Bass which basically fell apart.
The bass has a precision configuration and though it was mainly marketed as a starters bass it still has a great sound and feels good while playing.

Absolutely more than enough power and, for a 410, not to heavy.

I use this handmade patchbox on my pedalboard for over a year now. The quality is extremely good and it does what it is made for without any problems or signal loss. Recommendable if you're looking for a affordable patchbox of high quality.
