The Oaklawn era models maintain the craftsmanship of George Way with their iconic turret lugs and unique shell finishes. While they struggled to capture the rock scene, their jazz appeal and association with drumming legends like Jim Gordon and Jeff Porcaro ensure their lasting legacy. Despite limited production, their quality and rarity make them highly sought after. A must-consider for vintage enthusiasts, though their jazz-centric history might not suit all modern tastes.
