Owner Insights

Setup and maintenance

  • Regular capacitor replacement expected every 10 years; hissing and popping may indicate other issues beyond capacitors.

    Source
  • Multimeter testing recommended to ensure capacitors are outputting correct voltage; visual inspection can easily identify failing capacitors.

    Source

Features and functionality

  • Reverb circuit may intermittently shut off; this is a known issue that could require technical repair.

Carvin Legacy Head

Got mine right when they first came out, I have a very early one. The amp is amazing, in fact I believe it's the amp that is currently in my road case right now. The dirty tone is AMAZING and is exactly what I like. I dig all the other amps I own but this amp is something else:-)
