Description

Introducing the Electro-Harmonix Micro Synth XO, a versatile tool for any guitarist looking to explore the realm of synthesizer effects. It's more than just a pedal - it's a creative powerhouse designed to unlock a universe of sonic possibilities.

This compact, all-analog synth pedal is capable of generating a broad spectrum of sounds, from the classic vintage warmth of early Moog synthesizers to innovative custom creations that push the boundaries of music. With ten slider controls, you can craft an almost infinite array of analog synth sounds tailored to your unique style.

The Micro Synth XO boasts four mixable voices: Guitar, Octave, Sub-Octave, and Square Wave, each offering a different character to enrich your sound. The envelope control modifies these signals to produce a variety of 'bowed' or 'blown' sounds, resulting in an audioscape that's as dynamic as it is diverse.

Key Features:

  • XO Series chassis for robust performance
  • True bypass for maintaining signal integrity when not in use
  • All analog design for warm, rich sounds
  • 2-pole analog resonant filter for added tonal shaping
  • 4 voice mixer section mixes: sub octave, original, octave up and square wave
  • Square wave voice can be used as a distortion tone
  • Start, stop filter frequency sliders with adjustable rate for full control over the filter's sweep direction and speed
  • Adjustable filter resonance control for fine-tuning your sound
  • Adjustable attack time control for fading-in notes
  • Tough and compact die-cast chassis for durability
  • 96DC-200BI power supply included for convenience

Features and functionality

  • The Micro Synth XO generates its own signal using internal oscillators controlled by the guitar's pitch, rather than altering the original guitar signal.

    Source

Sick Tones

This pedal has enormous range of sounds in it. When you play with some of the sliders, they change all the characteristics of the sound this pedal produces. Sure, i bought it for 1100 TL means 350 USD and i am sure that i can always use it when i need a strange, 70's, fuzzy, ..... kinda synth sounds. Plus i can use it with deep house music too, so check it out if you see one.
