出身地：大阪府
生まれて間もない頃から母親の影響で日本の民謡に触れる。 2歳の時に初舞台を踏み、その後9歳まで民謡を続ける。 10歳の時、従兄の影響でエレクトリックギターに興味を持つが「Ｆコード」が押さえられず、 1週間で挫折する。
中学に入学後は野球部に入部し、練習に明け暮れる。 14歳のお正月にもらったお年玉でギターを購入し、再び音楽に興味を持つ。
高校生の時は主にパンク、メロコアに傾倒し、 レスポールを低く構えパワーコードを掻き鳴らしていたが、 18歳になってSONATA ARCTICAのCDをジャケ買いしたことをきっかけにメタルにはまる。
高校卒業後はESP GUITAR CRAFT ACADEMYに通い、ギター作りを学ぶ。 在学中に出演した学校内のイベントで、初めてインスト曲を中心としたライブを行う。
その後数々のオーディションを受け続け、 2007年2月GIT MASTERS 2006関西地区代表として本選に出場。 同年5月にはYOUNG GUITAR主催「SPOTLIGHT LIVE vol.4 in Osaka」に出演。 YOUNG GUITAR付録DVDにデモンストレーションが収録される。
2008年4月音楽学校MI JAPANギター科講師に就任。 後進の指導にあたる。
2014年GIT MASTERS 2014テーマ曲「Winning Run」作曲。
2014年2月ESPとモニター契約。
『YOUNG GUITAR』誌、『Guitar Magazine』誌でのレッスン記事、 『Sound & Recording Magazine』誌での製品レヴュー記事の執筆などを多数担当。
ESP製品のデモンストレーターとして全国の楽器店で演奏を行う。
2016年7月初の台湾でのギター・クリニックを開催。
