    Source

    Source
  • The Dimension bass is likened to a Music Man Stingray, with a punchy sound suitable for genres needing that tonal quality.

    Source
  • Some players feel the Dimension's tone is 90% similar to a Music Man Stingray, offering aggressive sound with an 18V preamp.

    Source
  • The Dimension IV is likened to a Music Man Stingray with less growl, but an active/passive switch could offer tonal versatility similar to other active Fender models.

    Source
  • The American Elite Dimension 5-string is praised for having one of the best necks, outperforming other basses in terms of feel.

    Source

User experience

    Source
  • Owners note the neck feels jazzy, enhancing playability even for fast runs, but the active electronics can make highs overly poppy, affecting tonal balance for some styles.

    Source

Value and pricing

  • In regions like Australia, the high price tag of approximately $2650 for a four-string version prompts buyers to consider alternatives like the Stingray.

    Source

Build quality

    Source

Mods and upgrades

  • Any bass soapbar pickup can replace the triplebucker, with Seymour Duncan custom 21.4k output pickups recommended for enhanced tone.

Mexican Made Fender Dimension Bass

Owned by Phased Out singer Tom Frank, played for early shows. Plays very well and triple bucker in bridge is an excellent diversity of sounds. Maple neck is a charm. Used for Phased Out recording of You Earn What You Get (2017). Auctioned in 2017.
