Description

The muscarin synthesizer is a musical instrument for noise sound synthesis. It has the format of semi-modular equipment and is available in both desktop and rack versions . it meets the control parameters of the eurorec standard CV -5+5v,Gate 0-10V

Technical specifications - Muscarin BIAS core - includes 4xVCO or voltage-controlled oscillators. Each oscillator has its own exponential-linear Converter with the ability to adjust linearity and limited 1v\oct control. The output signal of all generators is square waveform. A special feature is the BIAS mode - voltage offset, in which there is a relationship between the operation of all generators, which leads to the generation of complex waveforms. - LFO or low-frequency generator, generates control pulses, has two modes (S) slow and (F) fast, the difference is 1:2. the Operating speed can be linearly controlled by an external CV voltage source or using a pressure-sensitive pad - EG AR envelope generator. Creates control pulses. Accepts the trigger signal and can control the rise or fall of the converted output signal. It has two modes (S) slow and (F) fast, the difference is 1:21. The initial signal can be received from the LFO, which is sensitive to the pressure of the panel, an external signal, and can also work in automatic mode, starting the cycle independently. - VCF filter \ saturator \ LPF 12db\oct \ HPF 6db\oct - the optical resonant filter-saturator is an important part of the sound path and interacts with the gates on the amplifier channels. In all modes, the frequency cutoff (Cuttof) at Res min affects the opening time of the gates. At increase the resonance Res > 10% affects the mixing of signals coming from generators. HPF mode has a different sound from LPF and was introduced to highlight a narrow spectrum of signals. It has two saturation modes: soft and strong - Mod button. Controls: internal signals, external, touch-sensitive pad. - VCA \ Gate-5x, voltage-controlled optical amplifiers. They work in parallel connection of each channel of the oscillator mixer. They are controlled by both internal and external signals, as well as by pressure-sensitive platforms.
