Orange Terror Bass and OBC112 Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

While the Orange OBC112 Bass Cabinet delivers impressive sound and portability, it struggles with a few notable shortcomings. Weighing in at just 25 pounds, it packs a punch for its size, making it a solid choice for gigging bassists. However, its high price point and the lack of a pre/post EQ option for the DI output can be frustrating for those seeking versatility. Additionally, while the cabinet excels in clean tones, it falls short on the overdrive side, lacking the grit some players crave. If you can overlook these flaws, the OBC112 offers a compact solution that can fill a room, but it may not satisfy every bassist's needs.

Super tone and very light weight

The OBC112 bass cab is one hell of tone & volume, but also super light. Character is neutral, it takes up to 400W @8 Ohm and is perfectly partnered with the Orange Terror Bass or Ob1-500 amp. Suitable for most styles of music, preferably old school rock. Simply love it :D
