G-707 yang terbuat dari ash, maple dan rosewood (bodi, neck, fingerboard) ini dapat juga berfungsi (digunakan) sebagai gitar listrik biasa. Dengan vibrato unit yang didesain khusus oleh Roland berputar pada poros menggunakan ball bearing 16 mm, serta bridge dengan konstruksi roller sehingga senar gitar selalu in tune tanpa memerlukan sistem locking seperti Floyd Rose. Desain unit bridge Roland ini juga memudahkan kita mengganti senar dengan cepat bila diperlukan.

La Roland GR-700 raccoglieva molti consensi e io ne acquistai una. Il set era formato da due unità, la chitarra e il sintetizzatore. Quest'ultimo offriva molti presets con suoni interessanti. Aveva le uscite stereo, più un'uscita separata per la chitarra, questo ero ottimo per mixare i due suoni e creare così combinazioni molto interessanti.

La chitarra era anche molto interessante, a parte la forma completa-mente diversa, il traking era ottimo.
