Italian artist Bugo frequently uses the Roland G-707 during his live electric performances. This guitar was gifted to him by Giorgio Canali, the guitarist known for his work with Italian rock bands C.S.I. and P.G.R., and now a solo artist with Rossofuoco. The photo from Marchenews24 captures Bugo with the guitar at the Concerto Primo Maggio 2017.
Another technological development Hay has exploited is the guitar synthesiser, although there are no guitar synths to be heard on Feeling Good About It. Hay was first seen sporting the distinctive Roland GR707 on Culture Club's live outings. Since then the SynthAxe and the Stepp have also attracted his attention.
In this video (54.48), Anssi Kela told, that he got a synthentizator guitar from Italy.
In the YouTube video titled "TRIO KWEK KWEK - Tanteku," Trio Kwek Kwek is seen using the Roland G-707, a distinctive silver digital modeling guitar.
In this transcription of a 1998 interview with Guitar magazine, Draper discussed the recording of Mansun's Six album. " I used a Roland TR-707 [sic], one of the early guitar synths, too,' continues Draper. 'It's been mostly old gear. But new sounds." (While the article used the TR designation, it was likely an error as that prefix refers to a drum machine while the G model would be ascribed to guitar synths.)
