Brilliant product

I love these things. Not notes, just install them right (as I didn't once);

My Go-To Strap Button System

I swear these things should be a standard feature on all new guitars. They have been a permanent and important installation on ALL of my guitars since 2000....bought, built, modified, however I got them or use them, these are standard equipment. I watched a friend make a lawn dart out of his brand new B.C. Rich Warlock imitating CC Deville - if he'd had these, I never would have had to re glue the headstock on it! Performers and musicians - were a crazy lot who do a lot of stupid things with our instruments from time to time - I consider this insurance against accidents involving strap failures.

Great quality!

I really like this one, specially because it holds my precious OLP Luke model. The only thing that I think its a little annoying is the fact that you need a scissors to open up the strap hole a little bit more, and if you make it wrong you can damage forever your strap and it will be useless. But, once you do everything right, it's totally worth it. Great value for the safe of your instrument.

Just as Advertised

Not much to say here. It's a sort of preference situation. I got these for around $15 at the store, stuck'em on the Swede, and they work just as advertised. Honestly, the one thing I like about these is that the pins don't look too different from the original strap pins. Once you have your strap on, it doesn't look too terrible visually (as is a factor with most strap-locks).

fox369

Look and feel beautiful yet do not seem too practical or necessary.

After not too long (less than a year) my Schaller antique copper finish strap locks have weakened and I have removed them and reverted back to a regular though more reliable (believe it or not) guitar strap and do not miss these much.

tyler_kearney

Great strap locks.

I put a set of these on my Les Paul Melody Maker, which the strap kept falling off of, and I've had no problems since.
