Sekonic Digital Master L-758DR Light Meter - Photo Review

photoreview.com.au

The Sekonic Digital Master L-758DR Light Meter is praised as a versatile tool, ideal for professional photographers using digital or film cameras. Its standout features include exposure profiling, wireless triggering, and a broad sensitivity range, making it a market leader in metering capabilities. The sensor profiling function is particularly lauded for ensuring consistent, accurate exposures, which is a boon for workflow efficiency. Overall, it's a powerful and precise device, well-suited for those who can navigate its advanced features.

sekonic 758dr review on johnaldred.com

johnaldred.com

The Sekonic L-758DR light meter is a dream tool for photographers who need precision and versatility, particularly with its 1° spot meter and ability to calibrate with multiple cameras. The review highlights its effectiveness in delivering accurate exposures across various digital camera brands, overcoming inconsistencies in ISO readings. However, its high price point of £399 is a significant barrier, especially when cheaper models, like the L-718, still perform reliably. Overall, the L-758DR is praised for its capabilities but seems best suited for those who can justify the investment.
