The Roland Jupiter-6 is a 1980s analogue polysynth with a great sounding multimode filter that is quite distinct from other Roland filters of the same era. Here it is recreated in a 14 HP Eurorack module with an added 2-pole 12 dB low pass mode, reminiscent of the Jupiter-8. Like most vintage Roland filters, it is based around a cascaded Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA), in this case using the LM13700 OTA in place of the obsolete IR3109 quad OTA

System80's Jove offers a delightful homage to the classic Jupiter 6 filter, boasting a smooth, musical sound with enhanced resonance control. Its solid build and user-friendly design make it a pleasure to operate, providing rich, warm tones and versatile filtering options. However, the two-pole low-pass mode may not satisfy everyone, feeling somewhat less engaging than its counterparts. Still, for those nostalgic for vintage synth vibes, the Jove stands out as a worthy, modern reinterpretation of a beloved classic.

Jupiter 6 style filter that sounds fuckin' killer. Drooled over this for ages before I finally picked one up. Rolland fanboy till my last.
