Description
Transform your modular synthesis experience with the Takaab VLH, an ingenious eurorack module that acts as your VCO's Little Helper. Born from the creative minds of Takaab in collaboration with journalist and musician Steve O'Hear, this compact 2hp module is a sonic powerhouse that integrates seamlessly into any eurorack setup.
The VLH is your ticket to vintage synth vibes, packing a ring modulator, dual sub oscillators, and a noise generator into one neat package. The ring modulator takes two VCO inputs, A and B, and churns out a mix of sum and difference frequencies, offering a spectrum of sounds from quirky sci-fi effects to harmonically rich tones, depending on your input waves. With sub oscillators A÷2 and A÷4 delivering square waves at half and a quarter of input A's frequency, your sound palette expands with deep, resonant layers.
The module's noise generator provides a near-white noise source, slightly rolled off at the extremities, perfect for adding texture and depth to your patches. The passive A and B 'THRU' outputs allow you to clone your VCO signals without needing to unpatch, maximizing your creative flexibility.
While the VLH's trimmers and solder-jumpers offer customization for advanced users, they come pre-set for optimal performance, so you can dive straight into sound exploration without a hitch.
