Description

The Phil Jones Double Four BG-75 Bass Combo Amplifier is a compact powerhouse that redefines what small amps can achieve. Perfectly designed for both practice and performance, this amp is equipped with dual 4-inch PJB NeoPower speakers delivering remarkable sound clarity and depth. Despite its diminutive size, this 70-watt amp produces a rich, resonant bass sound that's hard to believe it's coming from such a small package.

The auxiliary input allows for seamless integration with your iOS device or mp3 player, making it easy to jam along with your favorite tracks. Plus, the headphone output is perfect for silent practice, while the line out lets you record with ease.

Review: Phil Jones Bass Double Four BG-75

mixdownmag.com.au

The Phil Jones Double Four BG-75 delivers impressive sound quality in a compact design, making it ideal for practice and small gigs. Its dual neodymium drivers ensure low frequencies are well represented, even with a five-string bass. The amp’s solid build and thoughtful features like a headphone jack and aux input enhance its appeal. However, it lacks advanced features like distortion and compression, which may disappoint some users seeking versatility. Overall, while it may not replace a full rig on stage, its functionality and sound make it a worthy addition for home practice or small performances.

Smol and sounds great

Sounds fantastic, handles a 5-string no problems and punches well above its weight on tone and volume. The ultimate in bass combo amp portability, I toss it into a DJ gear bag and can pretty painlessly take it anywhere.
