There's better out there
This was a mistake. I have CLA Guitars, which has a couple of excellent amp models, so I thought GTR3 would have those and more. But GTR sounds (and looks) like an amp modeller from the early 2000s. I like that it separates the pedals & amps into different VST plugins, but IK's Amplitube 4 and NI's Guitar Rig 5 Pro sound just so much better than this, so get those instead.

Probably the best sounding sofware Guitar plugin I've come across
What do you get when you get the most popular DSP company, with their proprietary Modelization, simulation ,whatever you want to call it, who are known for working with Producers such as Eddie Kramer, Tony Maserati and guitarist musician, Guitar Maker Paul Reed Smith, You do of course Get GTR 3 ,Guitar amp and Stompbox model/Sims. I don't have golden ears but I can tell you the Amps sound warm and how you'd expect really to hear them, and the stompboxes really do sound like the real thing. All of this into a plugin suite with so many sounds the possibilities are endless, anyway if you don't believe me go onto Waves.com and try the Demo.cheers.
