As explained in the video (47:25), Chris owns a Gibson Les Paul 1960 Standard V.O.S. His guitar tech says, “Right now it’s got Microfarad .02 capacitors in it. This guitar from the Gibson factory comes with Bumble Bee capacitors. I believe it’s the same value, but I’m going to throw the Bumble Bees back in, because that makes it the entire V.O.S type of thing. Love this guitar… sometimes we’re using it in standard tuning, and in other times I’m using it for ‘4th of July’ which is gonna have drop-C…”
In this video you can hear Chris's guitar tech talking about the guitar @ 43:32

Guitar Center writes in this article ""I sold about 5 or 6 Tele re-issues. I had to use a lot of them onstage because Soundgarden had so many different tunings. I sold a bunch of those and bought one '52 Telecaster. I had to sell all those guitars just to buy it! It was expensive but it's an amazing guitar! I always wondered how much truth there was to the myth that vintage guitars are better than new guitars and I suppose if you get the right guitar it's true, because this guitar is just amazing."
This photo and this photo show Chris Cornell using a Stratocaster.

The first model is an ES 335 with Lollar Tron pickups and a bigsby in army green, and the second is an ES 335 with Lollar Tron pickups in flat black. Both models were made with brushed nickel hardware and Grover brushed nickel machine heads and tuners.
In the video for 'Blow up the outside world' (ive included the youtube link as proof) Chris is playing a sweet Supro Dual-Tone in Arctic White colour. I have one of these. His looks exactly like mine (which is a 58) So i'm thinking he is playing either a 1958 or 59 Supro. (Bowie's was a 59 or 60 i believe).
