In the video of Kings of Leon doing a cover of "Dancing On My Own," lead guitarist Matthew Followill is playing a Gibson Memphis Chris Cornell ES-335. You can get a good shot of the guitar around 3:02 during Matthew's solo.
They mentioned that they currently tour with a guitar given to Seth from Chris Cornell (“It has the mojo all over it”) and opened each show the week following his passing with “Black Hole Sun.”
The guitar was a gift to Seth Avett from Chris Cornell. Seth states that he gave one of his signature Martin guitars to Chris and Chris gave him one of his signature Gibson ES-335s.
