Frank has a Fender "Partscaster" Jazzmaster in his collection. the partscaster name comes from the guitar being built from different, non stock, parts. The guitar was bought while Frank was on tour. the guitar is comprised of a 50s Body, and a 90s neck. He states that when he bought it the pickguard was wrong, and non functional. He liked the guitar because of how unique it was. Frank figured "it makes sound, I can make it work"
Throughout his career Frank was known to play white les pauls. Fank doesn't really know why he got those les pauls. In recent years Frank figured he should have a les paul again. He figured when the right one came along he would buy it. A friend told him to try this 92 les paul custom which, he ended up buying.
Frank has a bowman audio pedal on his board, seen in this video at 50:15. This pedal is a clone of a Klon Centaur. The company is ran by James Bowman of the band Against Me. He tried this pedal while testing out various Klon clones.
Frank wore a d'addario Stars and Stripes guitar strap during MCR's Danger Days era.
