Kove's Gear
12:54 - "I've also got this which is a great little plugin, which is the MV2 from waves. And what this does is... it's effectivly an up and down compressor and it just brings up the lowest points of the signal and brings down the highest points. So you can without proccessing it too much and getting the sound of compression"

24:16 - When discussing a vocal mix, Kove pulls up DeEsser and says "Quite a heavy De-ess going on here because it was a very sibilent vocal take, which wasnt awful but once you got those peaks going that's going to be interfearing"

24:09 - When discussing a vocal mix, Kove pulls up L1 and says "Then I've just given this a limit as well just again to control anything that's going on"
When dicussing a vocal mix, Kove pulls up this plugin and says "Again just to control control this lower mid area. It's not doing a huge amount, it's still letting that first harmonic come through but im just keeping everything under control"
24:44 - When discussing a vocal mix, Kove pulls up this plugin and says "I've got this which is one of my favourite plugins, this is altiverb and it's a convolation reverb rather then a alrhythmical whatever. It's got a whole host of classic reverbs and it's got absolutly loads on hear and it's got fantastic springs, old school digital reverbs, plate reverbs and really good stuff. It's very CPU heavy but if you're looking to get that older school sound and classic sound this is fantastic"
26:56 - When discussing a vocal mix, Kove pulls up this plugin and says "and this is great, super useful for compressing basses too much or adding a lot of top end. You can get artifcacts and this is really good at getting rid of them."
27:02 - When discussing a vocal mix, Kove pulls up this plugin and says "The here I've added a bit of top end, like a nice shelf, just to get that nice sheen"
