“My Ableton session controls patch changes to Ross’s Strymon FX pedals, along with Dustin’s SPD-SX, the SV-1, and the backing choirs on the VP-550. They’re also sending control changes continuously to the Subsequent37, OB-6 and Prophet-6."

As quoted in his 8/30/17 interview for Reverb.com: "My earlier tracks, I used the rack mount Moog Voyager, and I still use that a lot."

In this photo posted to his Facebook page, Moon Boots shows off his Korg PolySix Synthesizer. He says, "pep-pep's got a brand new synth"
Moon Boots features the Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite QUAD Firewire DSP Accelerator in his studio, as seen in an Instagram post where he shares a recent studio upgrade.
gave these NS900's a test last night and I think my AIAIAI's just got demoted. thanks @nocsdesign and the swedeheart @jonasrathsman for hooking them up! #nocs

In an Instagram post, Moon Boots references the Roland Jupiter-6 with the caption "(Roland) Jupiter Boots," indicating his use of this synthesizer.

Per a photo from this MusicTech feature dated Sept. 15, 2021, you can see Moon Boots with the DRM1 MKiii.
Per a photo from this MusicTech feature dated Sept. 15, 2021, you can see Moon Boots with a Yamaha TX81z. It's the unit with the green LCD display that is currently displaying in "Play Single" mode. There are a few 1-unit 1980s rack units from Yamaha that have a similar style, but the location of the display and the buttons is such that it can only be the TX81z.
Per a photo from this MusicTech feature dated Sept. 15, 2021, you can see Moon Boots with a beautiful Roland MKS-70. Roland made several MKS-series rack units in the 1980s, but only the MKS-70 have the elongated LCD display, button config, and paint scheme seen here.
Per a photo from this MusicTech feature dated Sept. 15, 2021, you can see Moon Boots with the Art Pro MPA II. It's the unit with the big VU meters. While the "II" in the title is barely visible, the alignment of the text underneath "PRO MPA" implies it is indeed a "II". Also, the original Pro MPA had way different font spacing and is exceedingly rare to boot.
Per a photo from this MusicTech feature dated Sept. 15, 2021, you can see Moon Boots using the TR8. You can distinguish this model from the later TR8S by the green LEDs on each slider.
Per this feature from MusicTech dated Sept. 15, 2021, you can clearly see a pair of Genelec 8351's. You can distinguish the 8351 from others in the Genelec SAM/"The Ones" series by the location of the green LED indicator relative to the central speaker cone, as well as the size of the cone circle relative to the rest of the body, aaand the monitor's relative size to everything else in the studio. Note the 8351A was replaced by the 8351B a few years before this feature was done, so I'm linking to the most current model that people can still buy. There are no visual differences between the 8351A and B.

I have two stands of synthesizers on either side of me. I also have a rack unit with a Roland D-550, Moog Voyager, Yamaha TX81Z, and the Vermona DRM1, and some preamps, including the ART Pro, Warm Audio WA273, and a new UA LA-610. Last year I installed a patchbay which is helping me make the most of the preamps.

Note artist says item is new, and interview is from 2021, thus making this a mkII 610.

What is your favourite piece of gear?
My Roland HS-60. It’s the same sound and controls as a Juno 106, but with internal speakers. It’s also uglier, but I’m ok with that. Of all my gear, I’ve had it for the longest. I learned a lot about synthesis on it, and I’d never sell it. I regret selling my Moog Prodigy, which was also one of my first synths.
I’m giving sentimental reasons, but I use it a lot. Rekon makes very useful VSTs that allow you to use a Juno or Alpha Juno like a plug-in. I wish they made something like this for Dave Smith Instruments.
