Porter Robinson's Gear
Porter Robinson uses the SSL Fusion Processor for the front-of-house sound during his "Nurture" live performances. This is evidenced by a user-uploaded photo on Prezly.
Porter Robinson is shown using the TC Electronic Finalizer 96K for his live sound setup in the provided photo.
"In this YouTube video of Porter Robinson he is playing the piano roll with Keyscape"
In the Zach Sang Show interview, Porter Robinson discusses co-producing "Clarity" with Zedd at the 23:08 mark. During this collaboration, the Tone2 Gladiator 2 Software Synthesizer was used, specifically the 'LD Arena MS' preset from the 'Lead Keys' sub bank, featured prominently as the lead synth in the track's drop.

When playing Everything Goes On at Coachella 2023, Porter used a Telecaster in Sienna sunburst; it appears to be an American Professional II. Most likely gifted to him by Fender for the festival.
Porter uses these headphones to cue tracks while DJing live. In this tweet, he can also be seen using them when working with G Jones on tracks or setlists.
This clip shows Virtual Self performing with G Jones at Second Sky, where they're controlling Ableton Live with the MPD.
As a longtime Traktor Kontrol fan, Porter has naturally used the accompanying Traktor Pro software for his DJ sets for a long time starting back in the Spitfire era, all the way up to his return to DJing at EDC 2022. This Youtube short shows him controlling the software at a party before the festival.
Porter uses a MK2 Komplete Kontrol keyboard that appears to be the S61 in this Tiktok clip to play and improvise on the lead of Something Comforting. He presumably uses it in the studio as well.
Despite previously finding hardware synths to not be that useful in production, Porter has installed this classic synth in his home studio, as can be seen in this still from the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
The A7V makes up one of two pairs of monitors in Porter's home studio, as spotted during the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
In the "Nurture Together Full Coachella Show" by Porter Robinson, a Dunlop Tortex Standard 0.73mm Guitar Pick can be seen affixed to his microphone, confirming his use of this specific guitar pick. This evidence was documented in a video provided by Lax Club on YouTube.
In the official music video for "Cheerleader" by Porter Robinson, a ZOOM G1on multi-effects pedal is visibly positioned to the left of the artist at the timestamp of 3:08.
On an Instagram livestream, Porter showed what he feels to be the most important piece of equipment in his studio, a guitar pick with Peter Griffin on it, and said "there's no album 3, there's no SMILE, without this."
Porter later revealed that he also has picks with other Family Guy characters, and his cat, and has used the picks on the SMILE! :D tour.
"It's bright... my music is really bright; I need something that cuts through and sounds really really 'pop,' and I also have a really deep voice... I sing in a way that's fairly breathy, so I think it sounds really nice... I was going to buy a real one, but I literally could not find one."
Porter records and streams with this clone of the classic Telefunken 251 mic, claiming that its signature works best with his voice and his music. At least he says he think it's this one, at 1:57:19 in this livestream.
In this stream after the release of SMILE :D, Porter at 4:28 says that while he now almost exclusively uses the FL stock 3xOsc synth, he sometimes pulls out Diva as well.
Diva also happens to be a favorite synth of friend and collaborator Madeon.
Porter Robinson uses the DiGiCo SD12-96 mixer during his "Nurture Live" performances, as mentioned in a tweet from his Virtual Self account.
At 1:43:33 in the Spotify episode titled "TN:153 Porter Robinson," Porter Robinson states that he prefers using the Soundtoys EchoBoy Analog Echo Processor over the default FL Studio plugin. He explains that the default plugin doubles the volume of the repeated note, especially when using digital sound, whereas EchoBoy offers a pitch modulation setting.
in his breakdown of the cheerleader flp, he talks about using toraverb as an effect on the lead.
