Shutoku Mukai uses the Fender American Ultra II Telecaster, as evidenced by its appearance during the ZAZEN BOYS performance at the Fender Flagship Tokyo presentation. This guitar, in Avalanche color, has been consistently seen in various photos from concerts since June 2025, including performances such as "ZAZEN BOYS × PEDRO" on April 11, 2025, at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO and "70号室の住人 LIVE!!!!" on August 9, 2025, with Perfume and ZAZEN BOYS. Further proof is provided by a live video from June 28, 2025, at Ebisu The Garden Hall, produced by THE PERMANENT PICTURES, showcasing Mukai with the guitar.

In a special interview featured in the April 2021 issue of Guitar Magazine, titled "90s Alternative Revolution," Shutoku Mukai is confirmed to own a Fender Japan TL69-115. This information is derived from a conversation between Mukai and Yoshino Hisashi, as shown in the magazine clipping.
