Guitars 10

I picked mine up for $200. It delivers a surprisingly punchy sound through its single coil and adds a nice body when blended with the humbucker.
Fast Neck. One of the most brilliantly designed tremolo systems I've ever played and great variety of tones. Should come with the added punch of Dimarzios rather than the stock INFS pickups.
My first guitar. Ended up changing the paint job. I cut and dumped a floyd rose into it and changed the pickups to B.C. Rich stocks. Sounds Meaty with a very throaty clean. Alder body and rosewood fretboard.
Saw this in the shop when I was buying my Holcombe and had to go back for it. Loved the matte finish and simple function so I traded another S-series with a whammy for this one. Hoping to eventually change the pickups out for some Titans but it's great that they come standard as split coil.

Amplifiers 6

These things are the same circuitry as a USA Peavey but made in China as a 112. Because of that, the price is much cheaper but the quality is the same. As is tradition with these things, mine is cut in half so I'm just using it as a 60w head. Sounds just as gutsy as a 120w and I don't think I've ever even wound the volume up to 2 going through my 16Ohm 2x12. All you can say about this amp is that it's a 5150. Exactly what you expect, nothing more and nothing less!

Effects Pedals 9

Simple and easy to use. Three knobs, three octaves. Ballsy lows and nice organ sounding highs if blended with the right delay.
The NS2 is obviously the industry standard in noise gates. it has a very high threshold for high gain amps and the convenience of an FX loop for troublesome pedals. The only problem I have with the NS2 is that when the threshold is up extremely high on blistering high gain amps it has a tendency to ever so gently soften the tone and fade back in too slowly to pull off an insanely tight sound. Brilliant device to stop your amp from screaming all the time, however.
Gives that extra kick to push your amp tone to the next level when it can't naturally get their on its own. It also offers a great vintage overdrive tone without throwing off your volume levels or altering the natural tone of your amp too much when you want that extra crunch.
The first and only problem I've had with this is a power supply. It blatantly refuses to run off batteries or cheap power supplies even if the power requirements match. It's very temperamental when it comes to power. As a simple delay though it is brilliant with 3 delay effects setting and two wave modes for each of the 3 effects. You can turn the effects off if you want it to delay normally but a bit of a chorus based pitch shift can do wonders when playing through some chord changes. It decays naturally, warmly and distinctly and the only bad thing I can really say about the unit is that I wish the delay time could be held a little longer.

Such a cool instrument to use. It'd be great to add another block to for a few more octaves. The interface and integration to non-MPE programs such as Ableton can be a bit time-consuming and difficult at times however.

DAWs 2

Ableton is fantastic at helping beginners and highlighting all of its features with a brilliant help system. It has fantastic built in effects and also VST compatibility not that you'd really need it. The only downside to Ableton is that it is primarily for DJs and producers rather than bands.
Getting on in years now with much newer revisions but the capability of this is unreal. All instruments are well thought it and the realistic reversible rack is such an intuitive user interface.

Microphones 6

Has more balls than an SM58 and delvers better low end. Much more affordable than other professional mics on the market.
Best Mic for multi purpose vocals. Such a low noise shelf it's unbelievable. Looks pretty cool too. Aussie made, can't go wrong.

Better than setting up an analogue board with 3 extra cables.
Look, plugging a guitar into this was probably never the best idea but at the time I bought it I was going through a big Muse stage. I'm sure it works wonders for a good bass setup but for guitar it doesn't always accurately articulate notes and some frequencies just sound downright annoying. the features, tones and parameters on it, however, are all a good synth/bass player could ask for from a simple pedal.
Replaced Mine with EMG. With the ZR Trem, Quilted Grey top and high gain pickups it's a metalcore machine!
Great Ibanez feel. Replace the stock pickups with a set of EMGs and you have yourself a cheap guitar that feels like it plays the same as a guitar that costs a thousand.
Very versatile with four different channels available. Great for a gain junkie but also lets you craft a brilliant clean tone with the optional mid scoop. Although its a key feature of the amp the 'tone matrix' selector is albeit a pretty useless addition and just tends to muddy the sound up unless your dream goal includes being in a Limp Bizkit cover band, Other than that its hard to use practically unless you have high wattage cabinets because this 350w beast will blow most speaker setups to pieces. A 1960AV is probably about the lowest wattage cab I would safely recommend to run with it. It's OD2 mode delivers more distortion than you could ever practically hope to use and the fuzz naturally sits on an annoying frequency that generally should be aided with an external EQ. The amp is drastically difficult and time consuming to calibrate on its high gain settings and once you've found a good sound you should wrap a big chain around it and never touch the settings again. But again, having 4 very different sounding channels at your disposal is a very convenient solution sometimes.
Great value for money if you can pick one up second hand. Multitude of effects and parameters all which work in an effects loop. It is beginning to show it's age in the programmed effects, however.
Taking their software to another level is Bias Rack. What you come to expect from the BIAS amp software is now convenient and practical to use live in rack form.
Comes packed with more effects than one could ever hope to use. This pedal fist of all has a built in 12AX7 tube which to solid state players can be a godsend to warm up their tone in the eyes of purists. The 3D Z pedal is great fun and ands some great functionality to where you want to easily be able to alter a number of different parameters simultaneously (a function which it's successor has unfortunately dropped). There is also the option of connecting an additional expression pedal to give it similar functionality to its predecessor the Zoom G9.2TT which employed two pedals either side of the unit. A highlight feature for me is that you can connect the unit to the computer and visually build and save a multitude of effects chains using some of the biggest blatant rip-offs of well known equipment; and it sounds phenomenal. The only let downs I have with this unit is that some of the more useful buttons i.e. patch change and scroll are not foot switchable and to navigate between banks you need to navigate a labyrinth of elaborate tap dances on top of the machine to find your next setting. The unit also doesn't have a convenient true bypass feature and instead requires you to manually deselect all your activated effects to bypass. Although the some of the cleaner amp sims are fantastic the dirtier ones are more often than not a let down with a lot of background noise or sound rather tinny. All up though as a multi effects unit it certainly lives up to its title offering a convenient way to set up a digital pedalboard.
This thing is the most flexible and well thought out music product I've ever used. Having a Bias Rack as my main man I miss out on having on-board effects so having this thing means I can have the best of both worlds between BIAS and Helix.
Comes paired with a 4x8 cab. Very crunchy leads similar to a 5150. Has built in spring reverb and a crystal clear very straightforward clean channel. Extraordinarily good plug and play hybrid amp that delivers where you need it too.
Well priced, low latency and high quality recording interface. Simply can't fault it.
