S470DXQM Review: I feel that this guitar will do me good as it... | Ibanez | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Ibanez S470DXQM impresses with its versatility, adapting well to Rock, Blues, and Metal, thanks to its dynamic sound and bright tones. Its ultra-thin neck makes it a dream for soloists, while the vibrant blue burst finish offers visual appeal. Reliability shines with solid strap buttons and stable tuning during gigs. However, the tremolo bar's looseness and the guitar's reluctance to alternate tunings may frustrate some. Despite minor hardware wear from second-hand purchase, it remains a dependable choice. Overall, this guitar receives high praise for sound quality and playability, though some may seek pickup upgrades for optimal performance.

Shredtastic

Fast Neck. One of the most brilliantly designed tremolo systems I've ever played and great variety of tones. Should come with the added punch of Dimarzios rather than the stock INFS pickups.
