Frisco Granda

Bought this guitar back in 2012, stepping up from a Squier Strat. I loved the look and feel of the Squier but played this in the store and was blown away by the tone and versatility provided by the humbuckers & toggle switch (though after a Squier I guess anything sounds lovely). I can get great surf, punk, and blues tones all from the same guitar! I lost my original one in Hurricane Sandy (along with other gear), and didn't even have to think about replacing it with another model. I also have a Tele and a hollow-body but this is the one I gig with and play the most- I love this guitar!

This amp is great for a solid state. With some tweaking, you can get pretty close to the Marshall sound (but it won't sound like a real tube Marshall) and get some nice distorted tones. It has built in modulation effects that blend together in a single knob configuration, which is cool. It also has an effects loop for your pedals. I got it in white as a half stack with the 4X12 Cab, but lost the cab in a hurricane :( I pair it with a Fender Extension Cab from time time and it sounds great.

I LOVE this overdrive pedal. It's doesn't drastically alter your guitar's tone but it has the capability of adding plenty of OD. I sometimes use it just as a boost to break up my amp a little. Also love the look of the pedal itself and the price!
