Fender Mexican Standard Review: Why I Never Replaced My MIM Strat and Neither Should You - Guitar Space

guitarspace.org

The Fender MiM Standard Stratocaster in Olympic White is a solid choice for players seeking quality on a budget. Its build quality and versatile tone closely rival its US-made counterparts, making it a worthy addition to any guitarist's arsenal. The neck is particularly praised for its playability, catering well to various styles. However, tuning stability can be an issue, especially under stress, and some models may suffer from inconsistent quality. It's an excellent base for modding, but expect to invest in upgrades for optimal performance. Overall, this guitar strikes a great balance between affordability and quality, perfect for intermediate players.
