In the music video for "Mary (Scary Version)," Gaz Coombes can be seen playing a 1960 Burns Vibra-Artist Electric Guitar, particularly visible during the intro.
As explained on his personal website: "This photo was taken in 1961 at one of the many gigs we did at the Tynemouth Working Mens Club. My friend Ronnie McKenzie (Mad Mac) is on drums. I bought the guitar (1960 model) in either late '60 or early '61."
Many times during the scene of the film "Saturday Night Out" where The Searchers play the title track of the same name, Mike Pender can be seen playing a Burns Vibra-Artist / Burns Tri-Sonic in cherry red.
From The Searchers' official website, while talking about the early recording years of The Searchers, it is stated that "Mike Pender at this time used a Burns Tri-Sonic, a three pickup cherry red model".
On this album cover, Franco, aka Franco Luambo Makiadi, can be seen playing a Burns Vibra-Artist Electric Guitar. These specific recordings come from 1963. It should be noted that the photos on these albums do not always match the specific years that a guitar is being used, it seems likely that this is the correct time period.
