this is a toy you buy for your wannabe dj 7y/o neise.
unless you find it for 20$ on the used market like i did, don't buy it. i bought this for that, and i was still disappointed.

A solid upgrade for aspiring controllerists
Upgraded to this from a DJ2Go... still not perfect, but it's a great backbone for controllerism.

Why this over Pioneer controllers?
1709
I was young and silly, and the Mixtrack is fairly cheap. If you can afford a proper pair of Pioneer controllers, get those! But if you're new to the practice, a Mixtrack is a fine starting point.
First DJ Controller
Coming in from using Virtual DJ with a mouse, this product is fantastic. Doesn't have ANY bells and whistles just the basics for simple mixing. Also Virtual DJ LE isn't that fantastic.
