I have to say, it’s probably the best amp modeling that I’ve ever worked with. I’ve worked with a few different ones, and this is by far superior.

I’ve used AmpliTube to record a whole bunch of different things as final recordings. I did the ‘Angry Birds Space Theme’ for that version of Angry Birds using AmpliTube through my computer. I just did a new video game with AmpliTube as well. Recently, I recorded some stuff for Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. So a bunch of the music in the theme I did for them I recorded with AmpliTube.

AmpliTube has really improved. It was always great to begin with, no lie, but it's gotten even better. And it's effortless. Whatever it is, you can do it quickly and efficiently, and have the sound quality be excellent.

I'll take an idea, record it in AmpliTube and then download and send it over to the guys. And I do that all the time. I recommend it because of how quickly you can expedite an idea.

In an interview w/ Sound on Sound, Rob Swire of Knife Party (formerly Pendulum) mentions how he used IK Multimedia's Amplitube 2 for processing guitars.

In a reddit ama, Tycho is asked:

"Are the spring reverb on songs like “Source” and the fuzz in “Division” coming from the Kemper? 2b. A couple years ago I saw you at Webster Hall in NYC, and Zac was playing through a Twin Reverb (or some Fender Amp). With the rest of the Awake tour, he was going DI, but are you now touring with the Kemper?"

Tycho replies:

"The Kemper does not have spring reverb, but I used it extensively on Epoch. Source is Amplitube 3, which does have spring reverb. Although we have used the Twin for recording, we have never used it live. We always use either Guitar Rig or Amplitube live. That will be changing after this tour though. we are heading back to the studio to rebuild the live show from the ground up and the Kempers will be at the center of it."

Guitarist Perry ap Gwynedd has seen his role in the band grow since Hold Your Colour, and the instrument is now central to Pendulum's sound. On the new album, the guitar sounds were created using IK Multimedia's Amplitube 2 and TC Electronic's TC Thirty plug-in. "There's a lot of guitars in there, and our guitarist was a bit pissed that we wouldn't record an amp, to begin with. We wanted to keep it software-based, just because you don't really know what sort of sound you're going to end up with. For what it is, even including a guitar in the first place is going to throw our fans off like nothing else, so for us to have that sort of last-minute 'That doesn't sound right, let's use this...' We just use them as walls of sound alongside the synths. They don't tend to feature by themselves too much at any point. With one of the tracks we tried to do a guitar solo as Aphex Twin might have done it, which I liked the idea of. The brilliant thing about our guitarist Perry is that you can have nothing in mind and he'll go 'OK, just leave me here for 10 minutes,' and he'll come up with something that is better than the entire tune you had before."
