Positive Grid Bias FX 2 Elite

soundonsound.com

Positive Grid's BIAS FX 2 Elite shines with its intuitive interface and extensive library of effects and amps, making it a powerful tool for guitarists. The drag-and-drop functionality simplifies preset management, while the added Scene and Looper features enhance creativity. However, users looking for in-depth amp customization will find it frustrating that they need a separate app for tweaking amp settings. Additionally, Android users are left out, limiting accessibility. Overall, BIAS FX 2 Elite is a stellar option for those seeking a comprehensive modeling solution, but it comes with some caveats that may hinder certain workflows.

My Favorite Guitar Amp and Effects Modeling Plugin

Bias FX2 is the main plugin in my entire guitar setup. It provides everything from clean tones to distortion, crunch, overdrive, and fuzz, as well as all the effects I use. It’s my favorite because it’s highly intuitive and offers a huge variety of tone options, allowing me to create unique sounds quickly and easily. Its flexibility and sound quality make it the centerpiece of my rig, serving as my primary guitar plugin for both recording and live performances.
