The Custom made JH3001 by Atkin Guitars. An E-Guitar build in collaboration with Justin Hawkins from The Darkness.

Colors: heavily aged finish in Neon Yellow or Neon Pink

Gotoh Floyd Rose

Custom hand wound Humbuckers

Unique 3-way toggle placement on the upper horn

Perspex Pickguard

JH3001 logo at the 12th fret

A reversed headstock with a colour matched “85” style logo

Fingerboard Roasted Flamed Maple

Frets Narrow Tall Nickel-Silver

Inlay Black dot inlays, "JH3001" at 12th fret

Finish Heavily aged nitro finish, rubbed back neck

Neck Shape Slim C with rounded heel

Hardware Gotoh floating trem, 43mm Gotoh locking nut and vintage style tuners

Pickups Atkin handwound custom humbucker set - 10k Alnico V Blade humbucker (Neck), 14k Alnico V PAF (Bridge)

Switching 2 volumes, upper horn mounted 3-way toggle

Justin Hawkins is confirmed to use the Neon Pink version of the Atkin Guitars JH3001 Electric Guitar. This is evidenced by a photograph taken during The Darkness's live performance at G Live, Guildford, on March 11, 2025. Additionally, Hawkins has publicly announced his partnership and signature models with Atkin Guitars through a post on his Instagram account. He is also seen using the guitar in a promotional Instagram post about the upcoming "Dreams on Toast" album.
