Old friends
Despite all of the madness when the tape manufactures started to go out of business it seems that it has all sorted itself out. I imagine almost anyone working with tape for good while has used Ampex 456. I also use RMG International tape for my Tascam 388. It does looks like the shift towards ATR Master Tape is gonna stick & so I'm sure I'll be using ATR for the foreseeable future.
