Description

The RE-1s Delux is any custom version of the standard RE-1s. Remember when guitar companies were inventive and creative with designs and materials? Or when they made their own parts or used the best components to make their guitars an unique, creative and affordable tool for musicians? It’s been a while.. I tried my best to channel Nat Daniel, the genius behind the original Danelectro Guitars and Amps and was very creative with using unique materials to keep costs of materials and labor down.
The RE-1s was designed to simplify the manufacturing without losing the most critical parts of a guitar, playability and tone. Almost every single RE-1s part is made here in the shop from repurposed materials.
I’ve even designed and hand wind a “goldfoil” style pickup that can be moved around (even while playing!) to achieve a wide variety of sounds not normally available with a single pickup guitar. My mantra for this build: Recycle components , Repurpose materials , Refine design , Reimagine function , Refind inspiration , Reignite passion , Reduce labor, cost, weight and price Includes: Baranik handwound Gold Foil sliding pickup , Iluminated control pod (plugged in) , Wood intonated saddle , Glow in the dark fretmarkers , Captured Corian nut , Hipshot locking tuners , Simple sunburst thin satin finish , Entry level Retro gig bag , Weight approx. 5lbs 6oz , Made in California USA Specs: Lower bout 12.25” , Fretboard Radius 14” , Scale length 24.75 , Nut width 1.6875” , String spacing 1.950”
