Field Test: Beyerdynamic Opus 69 and 81

mixonline.com

Beyerdynamic's Opus 69 dynamic microphone shines in live settings with its high output and excellent rejection, making vocal clarity effortless. Its tight supercardioid pattern reduces leakage but requires some getting used to for mobile performers. The mic excels on instruments too, handling high SPLs with ease, though its pronounced mid-range boost may not suit everyone. Ideal for those needing a robust, clear live performance mic.
