Critic Reviews

Kush Audio Clariphonic

soundonsound.com

The Kush Audio Clariphonic EQ is lauded for its unique sonic enhancements and stunning results, particularly in un-muddying mixes and enhancing individual elements like vocals and drums. Its parallel signal-path topology and descriptive controls encourage creative EQ use. However, its lack of cut functionality and reliance on switches may require users to rethink their EQ approach. Despite its niche nature, it is a valuable addition to any setup, offering unparalleled high-frequency enhancement.

It's virtually impossible to make this unit sound bad

Being that this EQ is a parallel unit ,it's hard to make it really sound EQ'd or fake. Perfect for Mix buss sweetness, or for bringing the life back into a dark source. Although it might seem subtle at first, put the bypass in, and you'll wish you hadn't.
