Is the Ibanez CSL 2402 Double-Neck guitar comfortable to play for extended periods?

While the double-neck design adds weight, the ergonomic double cutaway body shape and bolt-on neck construction help maintain balance and playability. The rosewood fretboard offers smooth action, but players should consider the added weight when planning extended use.

The Ibanez CSL 2402 is well-suited for classic rock, blues, and progressive rock, thanks to its dual humbucker pickups and the versatility of having both 12-string and 6-string necks. This allows for both rich, full chords and sharp, articulate leads.

Does the Ibanez CSL 2402 Double-Neck guitar require any special maintenance?

Like all electric guitars, the Ibanez CSL 2402 requires regular maintenance, including cleaning the fretboard, checking the bolt-on neck screws for tightness, and ensuring the electronics are in good working order. The dual necks may require more frequent string changes and tuning adjustments.

It's a Mixed Bag...

This guitar has its upsides and downsides, the pickups (the the whole guitar in general) are vintage as hell! It sounds mega on both necks, I looks awesome, was made in Japan in 1975 and still has original everything. I've never done anything to it in terms of a set up because its always been a side guitar really. However with a bit (quite a lot) of TLC, this guitar, I know, would play and sound great again. However the sate its in at the moment is pretty bad, it plays fairly horribly, and none of the dials or tuning pegs feel nice at all, which matters a lot to me. But its a savage piece of kit and I will cherish it for all the time its in my hands.
