Description

Immerse yourself in the enchanting soundscape provided by the Dream Cymbals Bliss Crash/Ride Cymbal 19". A testament to the fusion of modern innovation and centuries-old cymbal crafting techniques, this instrument offers a sonic experience that is as rich in history as it is in sound. The micro-lathing process combined with a carefully sculpted low bow grants this cymbal a dark, captivating tone, which remains buttery soft to the touch even when played vigorously.

Designed to be thinner than the contemporary cymbal, the Bliss series exemplifies versatility. It delivers a complex, warm sound at lower volumes that cannot be matched by its heavier counterparts. Yet, when the music demands more volume, it blooms with a warm wash and succinct decay, showcasing its dynamic range. The handcrafting process — from forging and hammering to lathing — ensures that each cymbal not only sounds unique but also bears the visual marks of its creation. Micro-lathing produces ultra-thin stripes across the surface, while distinctive hammer marks add to its character, creating a full spectrum wash with a quick delay. This cymbal is not just an instrument but a piece of art, echoing the soul of its maker.

Great Accent Cymbal

I'm not a big fan of the ride sound on it. It's really thin both tonally and physically. It could probably be bent in half with a little bit of effort. That being said, it excels as a crash. The decay is long and heavy. It's a great accent hit in the middle of a measure, as it'll take another measure or two for it to die down. I'm new to the world of oversized crashes, but this has become one of my favorites I've played, and one of my favorite cymbals on my kit. Dream deserve a lot more attention and hype than they're getting!
