In a July 10, 2023 livestream, Josh Scott of JHS Pedals revealed that the Hypersleep was based on a Solid State Reverb.
This is the Hypersleep and this is kinda connected to Daniel Danger because John got a hold of what is essentially a prototype Electro-Harmonix reverb that used bucket brigade chips. And John kind of invented this take on it.
