Small but a lot to unpack!
This reverb pedal, a mini version of the Hall of Fame, has only one knob but still offers nearly infinite possibilities. Out of the box, it comes with a “hall” preset that already sounds great. However, the real magic happens when you use the TonePrint application. Not only does it give you access to presets created by TC Electronic and various professional users, but it also lets you shape sounds endlessly with a huge range of parameters.
You can precisely adjust the type of reverb (spring, hall, church, room, plate, etc.), as well as the depth, decay time, EQ, modulation, and more. My favorite feature is the ability to assign the main knob to different controls. By default, it adjusts the effect’s level, but you can also set it to control decay or modulation depth (or any other parameter). A graphical editor even lets you fine-tune how the knob responds across its range.
And here’s where it gets wild: you can map multiple parameters to the same knob. This was exactly what I was looking for—a reverb pedal where the knob simultaneously controls both the level and the decay. If you know a bit of physics, you’ll know that decibels don’t scale linearly, whereas reverb decay does. With the editor, I can create a sort of logarithmic progression for volume alongside a more linear progression for decay, and even define the exact range for each parameter. That’s just brilliant.
That said, there are a few drawbacks:
The manual and official video from TC are pretty bare-bones. I’m grateful to the YouTube user who made a detailed TonePrint editor demo—it’s far more useful.
The spring reverb algorithm is underwhelming. If you need an authentic spring sound, look elsewhere.
If you’re using the desktop app, there’s no way to transfer TonePrints directly to your phone. If you want to change settings on the go, you’ll need to head back home to reload them into the pedal.
With those limitations in mind, here’s the real highlight: the plate reverb. It sounds gorgeous. I ended up creating my own patch based on their EMT 140 simulation, with the knob controlling both decay and volume, plus a touch of extra modulation depth. For that feature alone—and the fact that you can find it used for around $50—I highly recommend this pedal. It’s a perfect companion for small pedalboards.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I’m using my own custom TonePrint—a modulated plate reverb based on the EMT 140 template. I’ve set the knob to control three parameters simultaneously: reverb level, decay, and modulation. At 10 o’clock, it’s a fairly subtle plate reverb with a 2,500 ms decay. By 12 o’clock, the effect becomes more present, with a 4,500 ms decay and noticeably stronger modulation. At 3 o’clock, things get wild, with a seasick modulation and an extended decay. My sweet spot for an always-on reverb is between 10 and 12 o’clock, but if I push it past 1 o’clock, it transforms into a lush, ambient-style reverb.

The Toneprint functionality makes this uni-knobber a Must-Have for anyone looking to save on pedalboard space
The cats at TC Electronic are freakin' geniuses! Not only does their online library offer a ton of killer Artist Toneprints ("Viagra Substitute" by Satchel is my fave for gigging), but their free Editor software takes it one step further by letting you customize said Toneprints and/or create your own! And while you'd think that its single knob design only allows you to tweak a single parameter at a time, the Editor software can let you program the knob to, say, ramp up the reverb's decay time while simultaneously decreasing the Wet/Dry mix as you turn the knob from 7:00 to 5:00, for example. [If memory serves, the software lets you assign 2 to 4 parameters to the knob, so it's definitely not just a one-trick pony.] With so many great Toneprints to choose from and its tiny footprint, it's hard to go wrong with the HOF Mini--I'd definitely buy it again (and again)!!

A keeper.....
For a long time now, the H.O.F Mini has been on my board and used on hundreds of gigs and sessions.
The craziest thing is that I have never ever used the tone print function. Straight out of the box, this unit gave me a reverb that I really liked and when the single knob is rolled back, it adds a nice ambience to your tone, roll it up and it can get real cavernous. As we all know TC Electronic are famous for their reverbs and have been used on a great many famous hit records by major artists.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
As a rule between 9 and 10 o'clock.

One knob, but awesome pedal
I only use my HOF Reverb to give some body and depth to my sound. After I listened the sound quality coming out from this little reverb pedal, I knew it was the one I need. Simple use, great construction, small size (I just put it in the top-left-corner of my pedalboard and leave it ON all the time...) and amazing sound. I just set the knob to change the amount of reverb so I can adapt it to different places, and that's it. I'm using the Preset Room by TC Electronic, but I tried other toneprints and there are lots of cool stuff...

Great Reverb Unit
The whole sending a tone through the strings still amazes people and feels a bit like Voodoo but - the reason I like it is that it has 1 knob so I can adjust the amount of reverb with my foot when live. Brilliant, brilliant reverb pedal for when you buy a valve amp that doesn't come with it.

Simple but effective
This pedal might seem limited with only one knob, but if you use TC Electronic's Toneprint Editor software it is one of the most versatile reverbs on the market. Fantastic pedal. I use a toneprint that I wrote called "6550 Sunset Blvd" modeled after Van Halen's reverb sound on the 1st album using the EMT140 template.
TC rarely fails to deliver.
I'm a set and forget kind of guy. Load up my favourite toneprint and parameters, set the knob, kick this guy as an always-on reverb and I'm happy.
Amazing Reverb
This tiny pedal does amazing things. I cannot think of a time where I would need more than this in the world of reverb. Couple this with a decent drive and you can own the blues.
