Electro-Voice's Everse 8 shines as a portable PA speaker, packing impressive sound quality and a robust battery life into a compact design. Its weather-resistance and versatile setup options make it ideal for various gigs—from pub performances to outdoor events. The built-in mixer and effects are user-friendly, enhancing live sound without overwhelming complexity. The Electro-Voice Everse 8 dazzles with its impressive portability, thanks to a 12-hour battery and weather-resistant design, making it ideal for various outdoor events. With a clear LED display and intuitive controls, users will appreciate the ease of setup and use, especially with its Bluetooth connectivity and the comprehensive QuickSmart app. The sound quality is exceptional for its size, delivering clarity through a 400W Class D amplifier. However, while the speaker performs admirably, its weight may hinder those seeking extreme lightweight options. Overall, the Everse 8 is a versatile powerhouse, well-suited for DJs, musicians, and instructors alike, standing out in the crowded PA market.

Electro-Voice Everse 8 8-inch 2-way Battery-powered PA Speaker review on prosoundweb.com

prosoundweb.com

The Electro-Voice Everse 8 stands out for its surprising lightweight design paired with impressive sound output. Ideal for diverse applications, its Bluetooth connectivity and DSP options make it versatile for gigs or casual events. The True Wireless Stereo feature allows for seamless pairing, enhancing usability. However, it’s not without drawbacks; the heavy reliance on an app for sound control may deter some users, and the relatively high price tag could be a concern for budget-minded musicians. Ultimately, while the Everse 8 excels in portability and sound quality, it may not be the perfect fit for everyone.

The Electro-Voice Everse 8 is a game changer in the battery-powered speaker arena, delivering impressive sound quality from a compact design. With features like a robust 4-channel digital mixer, intuitive QuickSmart app control, and long battery life, it’s perfect for live settings and outdoor events. One of the best purchases I’ve made!

This thing blows me away! Super clear sound and a battery that lasts! I’ve tried other battery powered speakers, but none are as loud as this one! I use it for small to medium sized venues and I’ve even been told to turn this little guy down a couple times!
