VERY good bass.
I bought one of these last summer, second hand, and I was so blown away by it. The quality, the sound, everything. I used to play 'higher end' basses from big name companies (I'll not say who out of respect) and once I tried out a Tobias bass, just out of curiosity, I forgot about all the rest. These are the way forward for me.
The active EQ lets you get so many tone variations, its very sturdy and just well put together. I made a few mods to mine, just changing the hardware from black to gold and putting straplock buttons on it. Aside from that all the pickups and electronics are stock, and it sounds great!
