Description
The Ernie Ball Music Man JPX-7 is a seven-string powerhouse that marries technical refinement with musical artistry, born from a decade of collaboration with guitar virtuoso John Petrucci. Crafted for the modern guitarist, this instrument combines a chambered alder body with a maple top to deliver a dynamic range of tones with impressive resonance and sustain. Beyond its captivating acoustic properties, the JPX-7 is equipped with a pair of DiMarzio pickups: the Crunch Lab in the bridge for those thick, crunchy tones, and the LiquiFire in the neck for smooth, singing solos. The Best JP out of the line up.
This is the best JP out of all of them. It has a mahogany neck with Alder wings and a mahogany tone block. The guitar itself is almost chambered which makes it sound huge. The Crunch Lab 7 may not be to everyone's liking, but switching it out makes the guitar super awesome. It also has a 5 way switch, something none of the other JPs have.
