On August 25 2015, at the Staple Center, St Vincent appeared as a guest at Taylor Swift's concert. Swift, Beck and Annie performed "Dreams" and Annie played for the first time her signature model prototype. As we can see on the brand's website http://www.music-man.com/instruments/guitars/st-vincent.html this guitar will be available in black or blue, it has 3 mini humbuckers, all rosewood neck, a whammy bar, her stylized name on the headstock and this pattern is also reprodused on the fretboard.more
In this photo (url link) from her official account, Alicia Keys can be seen holding a custom made (in a silver colored finish) EBMM St. Vincent model. It is unknown if the guitar was probably given to her by Annie Clark as a gift. As quoted from her official Facebook page, "When you steal St. Vincent guitar ????????!!! #GoodVibes".more
"Ah thank you! It’s the Annie Clark Music Man model." > On Thin Mind, Boeckner largely split his time between a Music Man St Vincent, his Lincoln Gin, an old Danelectro baritone model and a 12-string electric they DI-ed straight into the board. In harness with Goodmanson, he was meticulous in ensuring that each time his guitar spoke it had something worthwhile to add to the conversation. This guitar is just amazing!!!! 10/10! It's versatile, the neck is smooth, perfectly beefy and chunky and a lot of tone options. The body is comfortable and light, as I could play with it for hours. Completely blown away by this guitar! You can play a variety of genres and get different tones from this instrument. Would recommend! :-)
Best guitar ever besides my Stratocaster
This is a guitar of the new generation, I mean it is pretty hard to design a new shape for the guitar, considering how many tried before. But this one, I think it is truly new shape... The curve and the V is design quiet nicely, and echoes the feel and tone of the guitar. I think it is easy to fall in love with this guitar. Smooth to play, and the spec are high quality.
The only comment would be... the volume knob is not as easy to access once you have the whammy bar on...
apart from that minor detail, it's such a nice guitar.
I own one in polaris white, Annie Clark calls it the THIN WHITE DUKE.
