Its standout features include a rare white transparent blond finish over an ash body, a solid maple neck, and a gold anodized pickguard, which was believed to offer better shielding. This bass retains its original flat-wound strings, and the neck remains perfectly straight—unlike many instruments of its age. While the anodized pickguard didn't solve the hum issue, this piece's pristine condition and historical significance make it a holy grail for enthusiasts.
