Description
The Mark Hoppus “Dabs Myla” Jaguar Bass by Fender
The Fender Mark Hoppus Jaguar Bass is a signature electric bass designed in collaboration between Fender and Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus that captures the punchy tones and minimalist control layout he prefers.
Based on the classic Jaguar® Bass body, it features an alder body with a maple neck and slab rosewood fingerboard, giving players a blend of vintage vibe and modern playability.
A single Seymour Duncan® Quarter Pound™ split-coil P-Bass® pickup delivers a full, articulate low end with plenty of midrange presence, perfect for rock, punk, and alternative styles.
The bass keeps things simple with one master volume control and a treble-bleed circuit to preserve clarity at lower volumes.
A HiMass™ Vintage bridge enhances sustain and tuning stability, while vintage-style tuners keep the instrument balanced and resonant.
Signature visual touches include a custom neck plate with Mark’s logo and classic Jaguar styling with a 4-ply pearloid pickguard.
While Fender hasn’t released a standard “Dabs Myla” production version, Mark’s personal custom painted instruments by Dabs Myla have inspired fan interest and collectibles around his gear.
