Greatest Bass ever!

I bought it in 1996 in the music store 'Kunz' in Düsseldorf (Germany). The widow of a deceased dance band bassist had given him on commission. The price was 1.250 DM (approx. 620 €), including Fender hardcase and original Fender US owner's license. It was played by me on many stages for more than 15 years; now the bass is retired and only used in the studio. The bass has a really outstanding sustain and I've hardly ever seen a Precision Bass that comes close. Together with my AMPEG B2 (1x15") and its active equalization I won't even notice that it "only" has a split-coil pickup - I don't miss anything! This Bass is in a very good condition, serviced by a regional luthier and without any dings and dongs! Today these rare instruments are traded above 3.500 €/3.800 $
