Fender Steve Harris Signature Precision Bass review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Fender Steve Harris Signature Precision Bass is a powerhouse with a weighty presence, both in physical heft and tonal output. Its hefty build is both a pro and a con—while it offers robust, thick sound, it may demand a padded strap to avoid shoulder strain. The classic Precision design is coupled with a striking West Ham United-inspired finish, making it a sturdy and visually unique instrument. With great passive tones from its Seymour Duncan SPB-4 split-coil pickup and excellent playability, it’s an ideal choice for rock and metal enthusiasts despite its heavy weight.

Unrated bass

The 2001 Steve Harris signature P Bass is my go to bass. Fat chunky maple neck and quarter pounder Seymour Duncans make this bass thunderous! This is the model with the "red wine" pickguard.
