At 1:53 of this video of The Easybeats performing on live on television in 1966, George Young can be seen playing his Hofner Club 60 guitar which he used throughout his early career in the band. George's model is a later model, possibly '61-'64, to the one pictured here on equipboard, in which the pickups were swapped from the single coil 'Bar' pickups to Humbuckers. George also removed the scratchplate off his Club 60.

In this short documentary about the Mersey beat movement, from 8:10, John McNally is seen playing his icon Höfner Club 60, in a black finish with a white trim, while recording "Sugar and Spice" in 1963. It was originally in a blond finish but then resprayed black. It was used on all of the recordings in 1963 and early 1964.
